Morning

Just one warm day after another wow.

They put in the hitch yesterday and were missing one bracket in the air bag kit that kept one of the exhaust sensors out of the way. So the are overnight the part and should be able to pick up the truck on Wednesday. Hitch airbag and in bed plug.

Then a trip nest week to drop off the old trail and pick up the new trailer.

Evening guys, all the parts for the stereo came in so I can put the head unit from my dad's old truck, into mine, gonna go do that now. This weather has been great for working. I am going to be starting another job soon, part time in the evenings with UPS again. This will be my second holiday season with them. They have been harassing me to go back to work for them, I've never had some place call/mail me that much. But now they have the right spot open for me so I'll take it

Good evening everyone!

At the hospital with my daughter at the moment. We've been noticing signs that her shunt wasn't working right over the last few weeks, and the MRI confirmed that this morning. They admitted her this afternoon, and she's probably heading to the OR tomorrow around noon for a shunt revision. Hopefully she'll only be here for a few days, but she doesn't have the best track record with that.

What's the new position Kyle? Just seasonal this time?

Tom, I hope everything goes well for your daughter tomorrow. It's evening in the warehouse, part time package handler/unloader. I'm not sure if it's just for the season again or if they will keep me past it. Last year I was a driver helper for the holiday season before getting back in to the masonry full time again. So now I'll be doing masonry during the day like regular, and working in the warehouse in the evenings.

Morning

Tom, sorry to hear about your daughter. Hope everything goes as planned with the operation. How are you and the wife doing? I hope not to much discomfort for the little one.

Kyle, work at UPS pays well, but bust your buns at night. More power to you. I remember thoughts days Holding down two jobs to make ends meet or put a little extra under the tree. We do what we have to do I guess.

I don't know how people do it today with kids. Computers, Sneakers, and clothing. And those are the have too have things. Sports, and all the other activities wow.

Going to pick up the truck today. Driving the Sahara isn't bad, but not my truck.

Good morning everyone. Hannah is scheduled for surgery at 10:00. My wife stayed with her and I'm about to head down. She's had a few shunt revisions before she was a year old, but nothing in the last three. Pretty quick, should be less than an hour.

Hannah's operation went okay, but they had some complications with some bleeding. They think everything will be okay, but they're keeping a close eye on her. She's definitely in better spirits, getting rid of that pressure seems to have helped.

She is a very cute little girl! Glad things went well, and hope recovery will be quick and everything is sorted out.

Good luck with the extra job, Kyle. I've been thinking recently that maybe I should get a second job. Having school twice a week and a kid doesn't make it easy.

Tom, I'm glad everything went rather well, hope she stabilizes fully and makes a quick recovery!

Josiah, you've certainly got a lot more responsibilities than me, don;t burn yourself out! I haven't been able to ride in a few weeks and I finally got to this afternoon, was so nice, definitely helps me unwind.

Stereo install went well on the truck last night, it's a very nice head unit, I couldn;t sell that with dad's truck, it's not even a year old! Also last night my sister's escape's battery light came on, I was figuring it was the alternator and after having the battery tested, it confirms that. Problem with the 06 and up escapes is that in order to do the alternator, you need to remove the splash guard, then remove the cv axle, undo the strut, and remove the exhaust then change out the alternator.

I'm going to atleast remove the splash guard tomorrow and get a better look at it, I may just have her bring it to the shop because I have such little time but that sounds like it would be a hefty bill.

Morning

Happy to see mom and little one smiling. Hope things get better quickly and back to normal. Tom shes a real cutie.

Got the truck back last night and it has 12.5 PSI in the air bags and ride is smooth. Of coarse on the way home the oil change light came on. So I will have to change the oil next week some time.(set up an appointment)

Got to pick up the camper at the campground and bring it home for the trip to Vermont sometime this weekend.

Since every day is Friday to me. I will take it easy. lol

Couldn't figure out why there was rubber all over the roads at ESPN all this week until they posted this video on the intranet site.
