Are you planning on getting larger tires at some point?
I'd hold off on installing a leveling kit until your ready for new (larger) tires.

I have the 20" black FX4 wheels on my white XLT screw with a 2" level up front. The truck looks way better with the level-stock tires or not. The factory rake is a little extreme. I have 285/65R20 KO2s arriving this week from DTD. Should be an improvement in the looks department.

Eventually that's the plan, unfortunately the stock tires are in great condition at the moment.....

I don't think it would look bad leveled with the factory tires. Either go ahead and do it, or wait until you go with the larger ones. I haven't leveled my 2013 FX4 yet because when I level it I want to put on Fox shocks, so I'm waiting for the factory ones to wear out first.

They look pretty good leveled.

There's a guy at work who has one leveled with stock sized tires, ill get you a pic. They are aftermarket wheels but equivalent to stock size.

As far as I know it is a 2" leveling kit. It almost has the California look where the front is higher than the back, but it could just be an illusion.

I know he is running 20's, but they are the stock size for a truck with 20's

I'll get you a pic....

It's not ridiculous at all.
Here's my '13 Platinum with aftermarket coils set right about 1.75" increase in height. The back is up about 1" via the RAS. I had about 1.25" of rake stock and now I have about 0.25-0.5" rake and I think it looks alright. I will be putting larger tires on once these Bridgestones are done for.

Yeah that looks just fine by me but are those larger than what I have stock?

That's 275/55/20 from the factory. Same size as your FX4 if it has the 20" wheel option. Basically the same size if you have the 18" wheel also.

Thanks Tim!
It'll be 2 glorious years of ownership on 1/4/16. I can honestly say that it was a 100% unnecessary purchase, as my 06 was pretty solid, but it's been one of the best purchases I've made. This truck continues to put smiles on my face!

To the OP...if you can afford it, the aftermarket coilover options are awesome. They'll run you about $800 for the pair, but the threaded body gives you an almost infinite amount of adjustment from stock height to 3"...I started at just a hair over 2" but brought them back down in the Spring to get some rake back and surprisingly the ride quality increased too.

2" Summit Billet level kit, stock 275/55/20 wheels, waiting for new tires when needed. Could not stand the low nose and factory rake on this truck, like it much better now.
