The creeper I've finally upgraded to which works well on my rough driveway is the Bone with large 5" wheels. I'm not keen on the plastic wheels, but I can find more solid replacements in the future if I need to. https://www.pricefalls.com/product/r...FdcWgQodwwQDUQ
without a doubt the best creeper i ever used, even better than the snap on heavy duty creeper i got while at the body shop.
that one last me close to 20 years before one of the kids ran it over 3 years ago.
That looks good, Tom, and I was tempted by it as well while I was trying to decide which one to get. I ended up choosing the non-padded single-piece-of-plastic approach with the Bone. I still sometimes wonder if it was the right choice, but it has served me very well this far.
i was also tempted by the bone Pete, but when i was looking i was 330+ and the 400 lb rating of the traxion was the selling point
the fact that i was crushing 300 lb rated plastic creepers within 1/2 hour of use made me go for the steel frame.

Finally got the center bearing installed on the drive shaft last Monday, and put the drive shaft in the truck on Saturday. I decided to pop in one more 1/4" shim under the center bearing because of the 2" front leveling kit (total of 2 shims now). On the road, it's smooth as butter with absolutely NO vibration of any kind. I'm getting the front end alignment tomorrow due to having had to replace a worn caster/camber bushing on the passenger side. My new brake pads and rotors up front are also feeling really good.
It will be really good to get the truck back tomorrow. It's been up on stands for over a month now, and I've got to get it cleaned up a bit on the outside, too, but it sure was nice running down the highway this afternoon while bedding in the new brake pads. I've really missed the truck.
