2001 7.3 Bad Vibration HELP
Truck has 237,000 miles, f250 7.3 .. Recently discovered a pretty rough vibration mainly between 40-60mph, nothing before that. After about 80mph it comes back but haven't tested it out that fast because that vibration worries me. I fought the vibration a few months ago, figuring out that the rear driveshaft u joint was broken and siezed, but it finally gave way and took the driveshaft out. So I fixed it, and it was great up until now. I also now have a pulsing brake pedal at that speed as well slowing down. Every brake was replaced 6 months ago and caliper etc.. I've also replaced the two hub assemblies and it has new locking hubs. What I have now found is about 35-40mph, when I try to slightly (I mean very faintly) accelerate, it revs and I have to hit the gas harded to engage. I'm thinking it could be a trans issue? Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated! May have to put the old 300i6 back on the road!
