Hi all,
What is the biggest tire that I could fit in the rear of my 74 F-100. Im going to go for the big and little pro-street look plus it should help my traction. And also how do I relocate leafs inside the frame??
Thanks,
Joel
I heard that allows a bigger tire.
And I have thought of either mini tubing or just tubbing it. I would think tubbing a truck would be pretty easy. I may be mistaken.
Well I looked at my truck today and i am really doubtful on the moving on leaf spings to the inside. that would take a lot of fab work to make that happen.
But you are right. doesn't seem like it should be that hard to tub it at all.
I still don't know about tires. I am sure you could get a 12.5inch wide tire under the there.
Hey,
I'm building a 77 F-100 and am planning on running Hoosier Pro Street Radials on the back. The sizes they offer are 29X12.50-15 and 29X15.50-15's...The 12.50s will fit but the 15.50 will not, from all the checking that I have done. At least without tubbing or narrowing the rearend. I'm planning on going with the 12.50's on back and B.F Goodrich T/A's on the front, probably a 275/60-15.
Also am looking at the L&L ladder bars to go with my Auburn gear pro series limited slip to help with the probable traction problems from my 468 and streetfighter tranny. Good luck.
James
