hood dome light problem

Ok my Mule's hood dome light stoped working out of the blue, changed light bulb but no go, tested the wires but there is no current going into them . Is there a fuse or a switch that triggers it to turn on?

Start by checking all the fuses. Probably just have a blown fuse. Everything else working?

I think the switch is in the fixture. When you change the angle of the fixture the light goes on. I am going by memory though

The contacts get worn out... Maybe start there... I know you said the wires have no voltage... But did you try to tug and shake them? Just an idea

I havent had a chance to look at the truck, but yeah I tried wiggling but the problem theres no power to the actual harness, the wiring gets lost onto the fender well harness, I'll have to strip it to see if any wires are torn
