'01 3.0 V6 Ranger

I just bought a 2001 ranger super cab V6-3.0 with 49000 miles. I am going to change the fuel filter(if I can). What else should I change? What about the plugs and what kind? Any help would be appreciated.

Just buy the cheapest plugs and wires.

Buy motorcraft or autolite Double Platnum plugs only.
Buying the cheapest is a bad idea on that engine.

I second that.

The plugs are supposed to be good for 100k.

I guess I'd just put in a new air filter, change the oil and filter, and fuel filter, and that's all.
