Who's Glad They Bought a 6.0L PSD?

Searched but didn't find this question or poll.

How many have/had a 6.0L PSD and glad they had/have it?
How many wish they didn't have/had one? '

(I'm looking at a 2005 F250; my first Ford)

Sold by first 06 6.0 to my father-n-law. Bought an 11 f150, loved the creature comforts but missed the power. Sold the f150 and bought another 06 6.0.

I am glad I bought one. Powerful, comfortable, and hasn't been a lot of issues. Luckily I found FTE early and have gotten good info and fixed issues without the expensive sidetracks some have had.

Can't say I'd want anything else at the moment.

I am glad that I bought mine, it has been a blast driving it and towing. This has been the best truck I have ever owed.

I bought my first Ford truck, a 2004 F-250 w/ the 6.0L, earlier this year after owning two Silverado HD's for a combined 10 years and I already enjoy the Ford better than the other two put together.

I looked for a while. I was scared of the 6.0 and I read a lot about the legendary 7.3's. The decent 7.3's in the configuration I was looking for were way overpriced. After reading endless information about the 6.0, I decided I'll give a 6.0 a try.

I couldn't be happier with my truck. It's only been 2 months but she is solid.

I ended up with the truck in my sig for $13k..it's an XLT with 113K miles, but that's just a baseline. lariats and special editions would be more.

I'm more than satisfied with my purchase. If I had to drop $5k on a stud and upgrade job, I would still only be at $18k. And.. I'd know I have a truck good for another few hundred thousand.

I can't say she will hear me , all in all my 6.0 has been faithful , not so much right off the get go back in 04/ up until 06 but the Dealer took care of all the Recalls, had a glitch in 2012 but nothing but smiles since then , now after 3 years later were:-Jammin that's right Jammin , bought one for my Grandson and almost bought another , but that 6.7 keeps getting in the way , ahhhh one of these days

I love mine, except for the fact it is only 2wd. Tons of power, solid stock transmission and decent fuel economy once tuned. I just got 19.2mpg (lie-o-meter, 18mpg hand calculated) on my last 300 mile trip at 80mph with over 700lbs in the bed. That is on winter fuel. I have gotten over 19mpg hand calculated on that same trip during the warmer months.

I just drove a new '16 6.7l today and it was about as fast as my tuned truck, but a large truck payment, VERY expensive repairs, and the emmisions BS on it keep me from buying one. Plus, many owners are complaining of a violent shudder/shake on them during regen at lower RPMs. The creature comforts and 4x4 are the only reasons i have been considering one lately.

Very happy with mine....and to echo what some of the others have already stated: I'm equally as happy about finding this forum soon after buying.

I will raise both hands on this one.

My only heavy hauling so far is my travel trailer. Otherwise I just drive it and enjoy it immensely.
