Recently installed a TS6 with stock tunes. First thing I noticed was a miss or stutter at lower RPMs if I put my foot into it all at once. I have a fuel pressure gauge and noticed it was dropping to 40ish PSI from 60ish in an instant which it never did before. Before the chip it was more gradual. Based on that I decided to replace the fuel pump, filter and clean the screen. Just to make sure I had a good fuel feed. However, none of that helped.
Something else worth noting is that I've never been able to produce much smoke. I don't really want to because it is a waste of fuel, but if I put the TS6 in 70 or 100hp modes I figure it should produce something, which to me is an indicator that something else is not right yet.
I'm looking for pointers? I have Fuel Pressure, Oil Temp, EGT and Boost guages. I also have a Torque Pro setup with standard PIDs available.
Maybe I need to remove the chip all together and see if the stutter goes away. Maybe I didn't clean or over-cleaned the pins......I dunno. Guess I should call the chip seller and see what they have to say too.
