Hey there
Hello,
Long time listener, first time caller. I bought a 1987 f250 heavy duty, long bed, regular cab, 460, c6, 4x2 xl last spring. I have done a few things to it, thanks to the awesome posts on fte. Oh yeah, it's brown and tan.
I have replaced the carburetor with a Holley 4160, still working out the choke (thinking about going manual), de-emissioned, converted to 3g 130 amp alternator, serpentine set up from 88 truck, and still have to replace valve cover gaskets and tensioner (the one I have now is from the junkyard).
Anyways, I am obviously a super big truck nerd! I am excited to run stuff by the site gurus, and perhaps even occasionally offer advice based on my limited experience.
