John here from Vegas. Im on my 4th Ford truck. First was an 80(I think) F100 I6 and granny 4sp, then an 89 F150 4X4 5.0 granny 4sp. Number 3 is a 73 F250 360 t-18 and the newest is a F250 extra cab, 7.5L and auto. I bought the 250s within the last 7 months, the 93 last week. Its time to get them fixed up!
The Ford heard is thin. The 80 and 89 are gone. those 2 were so much trouble, I swore of Fords, but here I go again! At least with these they are old enough to expect problems, the first 2 were fairly new.
Im just glad to finally have a truck with enough hauling capacity to mount the camper on the bed and still have enough to tow a trailer with the JEEP and dirt bikes and be so self contained that I don't have to come home!
Welcome John, I'm over the hump in Pahrump and enjoy doing the dirt bike quad thing as well. I have a 2003 F250 with a 7.3L automatic that I am currently adding mods to. Good luck with the trucks and let me know if you need any help.
