Hi everybody. I am a shade tree mechanic. Have lurked here a long time and found loads of good advice. Recently bought a super clean 2000 F250 Super Duty - Regular Cab - Long Bed - 4x4 - V10 - Lifted w/big tires - and the kicker a kennebell supercharger.
As I understand it, they don't make SCS for this engine anymore, is that correct? Anyone have any experience with SCd v10s?
Hey guys! Thanks. Glad to finally be here, and stoked to start playing with this truck. Pulled the SC to check for plug blow out, all seems good. Really want to pull the plugs and do a compression test, but scared after all I've read to touch em.
Guy I bought it from was a Crack head but said he thought the motor was f'ed. Going to check exhaust studs and cyl compression, put the SC back and try it.
Someone had drilled the gas tank too. I patched it with water weld. Haven't run her yet...
