VSM and Remote Start Module
So I posted last week about my interior lights not working in certain situations. After days of tinkering and experimenting (and tips from some of you) I have come to the conclusion that the VSM is bad. HOWEVER, I call the Ford dealership and after spending 20 minutes on the phone with that guy the only part he can find is that the remote start module replaced the VSM on my 2005 Excursion. I called several other auto parts places and nobody carries a VSM for a 2005. Can anybody give me a confirmation that the dealership is right on this? I have looked on the firewall behind the radio and I don't see what would be classified as a VSM. Any help appreciated! Thanks.
