Titan diesel fuel tanks ???

Has anyone out there in 6.7 land any experience with the Titan extended range fuel tanks. Considering a 50g replacement tank for my '15 Crew Cab, short bed F350. There are a couple of choices but I know someone that did the Titan last year and is happy with it. Just wondering if anyone knows any sources for discount pricing on the Titans.

ThanX,
Roger in NJ

I put a 65 gal Titan tank on my 2105 CCLB and love it. Not problems with install nor leaks. Make sure you follow the instructions on installing the fuel pump/sending unit is the key to a good install.

Have assisted with installing the same Titan 50 Gallon Tank in my friends 2011, 2013, and now 2015 F-350 CCSB. It has worked great in all 3 Trucks. We are even starting to get good and disconnecting/connecting the fuel lines/wiring harness.

Very much worth the investment if you do any towing.

Thanks all. We do tow and that's the motivation for doing this. My local dealer will install and re-program the computer for $480. Just trying to get a good price on the tank. Most sources seem to be pretty consistent. I'm thinking along the lines of the skid plate. Any thoughts on that. The deal is getting the plate with the tank and there is no additional shipping. Get the plate as a separate item and shipping is $75.

Skid plate - Will you be off road with your truck/ traversing uneven terrain? The skid plate does help. Would be nice if it was thicker though. Still, it is definitely welcome added protection for low hanging Titan tank.

I wouldn't buy the "skid plate" again. I don't do serious off-roading. That pan collects debris and I wonder if someday a stone trapped in there will eat thru the tank. Also, there are noises coming from there because the plate is used in place of the rubber straps.

That $480 is a bit much for the install. The computer programming is a 5 minute job.

See the video in the tech section and do a search for more information.

I have the Titan skid plate on mine and it doesn't whistle nor collect debris. It fits pretty snug to my tank.

Think is a personal pref to get it or not...
