Source for engine parts and frame section

What are good sources for flathead engine parts? Need oversize pistons, distributor, mounts, valve springs, screws and so on.

and...more important...the part of my frame where the engine is mounted is badly rotten. I would prefer to replace it, if I could get this section in good condition. The rust on my parts is so deep, I can break pieces of rust with my fingers at the edges. But only on that 2 parts and the front crossmember (which can be repaired).
These are the frame parts I mean:

If anyone has them and likes to sell, please contact me.

How soon do you need them? If the 47 is same, I can ask the guy I bought the cab from. He saved the chassis mostly for the engine but I don't know when he plans to pull it out.

No need to hurry. I have a lot to do with the truck. Next year is fine.
40-47 should have the same frame. I'll post some pictures this evening, just to be sure.

For the engine parts, is Bob Drake a good address? The only things that are missing in his catalog are oversize pistons.

It depends on weight and package size. I use usps.com to calculate shipping. I think around 120 USD (I hope it's less).

No, it's probably more. I just sent a 56 caddy carb and it was $90

I payed 138$ shipping for a intake manifold (iron) and two 8RT waterpumps. I don't think the two frame parts weight more, but I can be wrong.

Herman, I weighed pair of those motor mount brackets that I took off of my '49 F4 and they weigh 11.0 lbs on an accurate shipping scale. My brackets are marked 21T-5086 RH and 21T-5087 LH and are listed in the parts book as part of the 21T-5019A or C #1 crossmember assembly for a '42-'52 V8 truck. The brackets you need are part of the 01T-5019 #1 crossmember assembly for the '40-'41 truck. The motor mount brackets for a '42 and later truck may not fit your truck, you may need the crossmember also to make them work, or they may not work for your application at all. I can send you some photos of my brackets and or take some measurements of them if you need me to.

I wonder what the difference is. Havn't checked the Green Bible for the parts, thought 40-47 is the same. Can you send a photo of your brackets?
