Removing doors

Pulled the doors from my 47 parts cab today, wow, what a pita. I have done a few but these were tough. Heat didn't work, pin just swelled in the hinge and refused to move. I ended up drilling 3 out of the 4 and 2 of those I had to drill from both ways (which would be impossible on the lowers if the truck was together). When I pull them from the panel, I think I'll just start right out cutting off the heads, drilling down from the top past the top section before I try to drive on out.

I had the same problem, needed to drill out 2 of 4. The two that came out can be reused. Or is it better to buy new ones?

I have some new ones, cheap. But now I could use some longer ones, one for the mirror and the rear doors use longer ones, although the standard ones will work, just little shy of coming clear through.
I'll just mount my doors all with 1/2 inch bolts until final assembly so I can take them back off easily.
