Did you ever figure out what was going on with this? I am having the exact same issues with my hydroboost conversion. No matter how many times I try bleeding the system it still pukes fluid out the power steering pump. All fittings are tight. Driving me crazy. Brake pedal feels fine, but if the front wheels have any load on them (i.e. lower speeds or substantial turn) then the steering freezes up and screams like a stuck pig. When i turn the wheels side to side with the front end off the ground you can hear air rushing in and out of the reservoir and it eventually pukes it out. If i fill it with the engine running then as soon as I turn it off it pukes it out. I too am afraid I hooked something up backwards but everything looks right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had to do what they said. I had to take the steering box off the frame (with hoses still attached) and tilt it so the ports for the hoses are on the top. Really not hard to do it's just a pita. When you tilt the box make sure you have someone watching the fluid level because it will drop really quick. All this is with the engine running of course.
