I have a 2011 f250 diesel and recently did a burnout. Right after the burnout I noticed my engine was a little laggy and it still has not been running right for the past week. So my question is has anyone heard of someone doing permanent damage to the engine because they did a burnout? When I did a burnout it was with pretty much with bald tires on concrete it was only for about 10-15 seconds nothing major hardly any smoke. I was holding the brakes down. At first I thought maybe the brakes were hung up causing the truck to seem to not want to accelerate like it used to but now after a week I don't think that's it. It was also like the third time I've ever done a burnout and I've only done a boosted launch a few times as well. I have also noticed my MPG has gone down some. Maybe it's all in my head but I don't think so.

You certainly could if your not up to normal operating temps!
I was definitely up to operating temp because i had been driving for about an hour dropping some stuff off at the dump and then did a burnout after I dropped it off
I actually have an aftermarket piping kit now and ran the ccv to a bung on the intake pre turbo. Running the ccv to the air was leaving oil drips and vapor coming from under the dump. Running it the exhaust lasted about a year then I was seeing oil dripping from the exhaust in some areas and I always had vapor coming out the exhaust which is worse looking during the winter and at night with headlights shining. Looks like you're buring oil. Got tired of the smell, vapor, and oil dripping and ran it to the intake. No issues.
