I have a 98 B4000. I want to get some more HP out ofit, and I thought I'd check out the cold air intake stuff first. Anyone with any info, good or bad? I was looking at the Volant stuff, but I didn't get a lot of info.

I have a K&N FIPK on my 98 ranger and it works great!!! But if you want real power don't stop there start with the mass air flow sensor throttle body and exaust and then you will really pick up some power. Plus the FIPK works better when you add higher flowing parts...

And while your at it,open up the exhaust to get all that air out.A flow master or gibson exhaust system.
On my '03 Ranger, I went with (so far) a Flowmaster 50 series, and a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit. Like what blazing has. I have pics of it in my gallery.
The flowmaster gives a nice sound, and I noticed after installing the air intake, and oddly inproved the sound
