Is there an aftermarket that produces a projector style replacement headlight for our X's that don't have halo surrounds? I'm not a fan of halos at all, and want to upgrade to HID's behind a projector lens. Further, I'd like to see one with black accents inside the housing. Thanks for any leads!

Which light pattern are you looking for ?

 

If you're wanting HID's, you'll need HID-specific projector housings. Most aftermarket pre-assembled housings have a halogen projector setup. While they have a cut-off, you'll lose around 30% efficiency of the HID output.
