i offered up some parts to help the OP get back to running status, and now its deleted..
Any type of selling especially with $ amount discussion is against forum rules except in the classified section or through PM. You can get away with "I have such and such I'd be willing to sell, send me a PM" but I think you named a price and that's why it was deleted. Kinda sucks but otherwise our threads could get overrun by people trying to sell stuff.

exactly. sorry, i was running short on time when i deleted it and forgot to sent you a pm explaining why.
even though your intentions were good, we can not allow posts like that. because inevitably we will get a "well you let him do it so i have to be able to do it too" .
and then it just turns into a free for all with for sale posts all over the place.
that is why we do not allow fund raisers, "go fund me" ads, or anything else related to money for anything type posts.
from antartica to new york,
you get around more than a 2 dollar hooker on a oil rig in the pacific.
i reside in CA, DC is the closest ive been, ill keep my @$$ on the best coast.
Did you try using your key in it, to see if the cylinder will turn? If it will turn to the UNLOCK position, you can remove the old cylinder using the release button and just replace the cylinder as usual.
You just need to get it on the road right? The damage to the column can wait if you can fix/rig the ignition? The damage looks largely cosmetic, I think if you can get the damaged lock cylinder out you should be ok using a screwdriver and maybe even just replacing the lock cylinder, if so easy fix. The guys trying to steal your truck were idiots, all they needed was a cordless drill something pointy, and a screwdriver, thank god for that.
Anyway, grab a drill with like a 3/8 bit, something pointy and a flat screwdriver. They way the lock cylinder comes out normally is you turn the key and that releases a lock on a pin you push in to release and remove the cylinder. That pin hole is on the bottom side of the column under the ignition. What you'll need to do is drill down the path that the key went into carefully. There're is a prescribed depth you can find online but with the damage it might be hard to figure. When you get deep enough you'll be able to push that pin in. Then the cylinder may come out with the bit or you'll have to pry it out.
Once the lock cylinder is out you can turn the ignition with a flat screwdriver and operate it normally. Given the damage, it looks like you may even be able to just put in another lock cylinder until you get around to fixing the column right.
EDIT..
Uhm yeah, madpogue is right, try the key first, also the above is from memory, you can find the exact right bit size and depth to drill online if you like, it's out there.
EDIT 2..
Yeah 3/8 bit about 1-3/4" deep. I did this on my 86(it's the same) not long ago. Was surprised how easy it was. On the pin though you may want to use a punch and have a little hammer handy. Might need a smack to go in.
