my new 7.3 winter truck
First time at forum photo posting. I hope it works, photobucket isn't and hasn't for me for a while. Looks like it's going to be a small pic though.
This used to be my neighbors pickup, the sheriff took it and put it up for auction. I bought it a couple months ago, 600 bucks. Me and the neighbors girlfriend were the only two there. The body used to be perfect until that guy got ahold of it, but its still not terrible by any means. No rust. The body and frame are almost as rust free as mine. Almost makes me not want to use it in the winter, but I bought it cheap, and need a new winter 4x4.
It's got a rebuilt automatic trans less than a year old, D50 all gone through, new brakes, oil cooler seals, new turbo wheel, 80%+ tread on the 285's, plus more. The money was all spent by the now ex-girlfriends dad. It does have 374k on it. It does also need some work, but not that much. I'm putting about 350 or so in it. STACKS WILL BE REMOVED and sold back to a friend of the old owner tomorrow. I'm putting the 4 inch straight pipe off my truck on there. GP's are out and getting replaced, pass. side were originals, not working at all. I'm almost positive that valve cover has never been off. New western GPR going on. New vacuum pump and carrier bearing. Oil, antifreeze, and that's about it.
I bought it looking just like that. They never cleaned it before auction. Which wouldn't have mattered anyway since nobody showed up!
I thought about selling it and making a nice profit, but I got it so cheap I just can't part with it.

Thanks guys. I'm sure I'll never come across another deal like this. Nice to have a little good luck sometimes!
Gabe, I held out a little while on it as I was just gonna turn it and make some cash. Since I decided to keep it I let you guys know.
Nick, you are right, crap usually does come in 3's. i hope the third misses ya! I'll get some more pics after I get my work done to it. Can anyone tell me why my pic is small using the forum to post? How do I make them bigger?

Thanks Byron and Tom. I'm using my laptop like always, I'm just unable to load my pictures to photobucket like I always used to. I have an old flip phone.. I used to just send them to my email from my phone, then forward them to my photobucket account. Everything says it works yet, but no picture shows up on my account.
I'm really computer illiterate. I send the picture off my flip phone to my email, then save it to my computer, then get it to the forum, but don't know how to make it bigger in the process.
I'm off to rip them flippin' stacks off and piddle with the truck some more.
