Like you, 2 weeks ago I found him a similar vehicle; It's a 2008 F-150 short bed, single cab (126" WB) 4x2 with the 4.6 V8. It's dark blue and has just over 103,000 miles. He needed something to do light duty hauling and do light duty towing. Although I would have prefered a 4x4, he and my mom also have a 2014 Chrysler 300C AWD (they live in north-east OH too). Thanks for posting; as i learned a lot by reading the responses above. I intend to be sure he takes it in and has the trans fluid, coolant and spark plugs changed. Happy Holidays!!
where abouts are your parents? My Dad is in Kinsman, northern trumbul county

They live in Canfield, OH now; Mahoning County; right next door to you. I was raised in Aurora, however; I worked at The Richfield Coliseum and then Gund (the Q now) Arena in downtown Cleveland before heading to Louisville, KY for work 17 years ago. I miss OH (although I love Louisville) and I am a Browns fan still.

Ahhhh, the Richfield Coliseum, went to many many many concerts their In the late 70`s and 80`s. Actually Exactly 35 years ago this Tuesday was my first concert there on my 18th birthday. Dec. 15th 1978.
I live in Fowler, Cortland 20 mins. from your parents. Small world. I bought my current F250 in Canfield, Fairway Ford.
The Browns, not sure if want to talk about them or not. lol Been a fan my whole life.

Indeed, small world; I worked at the Coliseum from 1986 till it closed and we opened Gund. Fairway Ford is a nice dealership. That's where my dad has his F-150 serviced.

I was in Cleveland for the Browns vs 49ers last sunday. They won, for a change; it was 65 degrees at the game! But yea, typical misery with the Browns; you're right, lets not ruin a good thread with that!! Have a great holiday season. Cheers.
