On of the first grain trucks my father had when he started farming was Ford tandem with a 292. It pulled that loaded truck without a problem.

The one thing I can think of is you may want to upgrade the brakes... at least the front... Cal drivers like to pull in front of large truck without giving them room to stop... Welcome and look forward to hear and see more of your truck and progress.

Welcome to another San Diegan! One source for flat glass is Admiral Glass in El Cajon...he does good work at a far price. Laminate, tempered, all tints. He will even install your vent window glass at no extra charge...anyone who has done this job knows what a PITA it can be.
