Truck Manual Help

Trying to pin point the right (most useful) shop manual for my 1948 F-1 truck 239 V8 engine 3spd on the floor..seems the closest I can find starts with 1949.

This is the correct one for your truck. It's unknown why it doesn't say 1948 on the cover, but for all intents and purposes, it's the same as the years covered. The manual is available in paper form or on CD.

Wayne is spot on. Do Not - repeat, DO NOT buy the 1942-1948 version as it is about the most useless hodge podge of nearly helpful information assembled,
