C80E-10145-A v. C8AE-10145-A

I came across an alternator bracket on 67-72 generation truck and it had an engineering number of C80E-10145-A. I have come across numerous
C8AE-10145-A ones but none with the C80E. Would like to know more about the application of the brackets--model/years and the like if possible.

One thing is for sure--the C80E bracket is larger.

Did the truck have air conditioning?
Here's an ad claiming F100/F250. Don't know why an F350 would be different. I'll check mine.

Thanks a bunch.

It appears to me based on my junkyard hunting, the C8OZ is much more rare (at least in the trucks that I have found).

Correct-a-mundo Sam. Most of out generation of Ford trucks were without A/C and had the smaller alternators.
