Was there ever a left hand mount alternator bracket installed on an FE in any application? I could use a few more amps and figured I could just put my stock spare alternator on too. I have a right hand mount now.
Stock alternator was 30 amp. output if I recall correctly. Autozone has a 60 amp alternator available which would give you what you want with a lot less agravation.
I have a 60 amp on (old one went bad) and I had my old one rewound to 60 amp (now my spare). I can (and probably will) just fab something up unless I can find a bracket for cheap.

1965/66 F100/350 240/300/352: Standard equipment alternator was 38 amp. 42, 45, 55 and 60 amp alternators were optional.
F100/250 Camper Specials came with 55 amp alternators as part of the package.
1963/64 Thunderbird, 1965/79 all: The same alternators used on F100/350's were also used on Passenger Cars, alternator regulator also the same thru 1981.
