What you describe is a VERY common symptom of a bad FICM. We'd be happy to help you out if that is of benefit to you. We can either work on yours or ship you one out on exchange to limit your downtime.

Hope this helps!
I've changed at least 100 FICMs, but never seen one smoke this badly or run the voltage quite this low without a cold no-start or P0611. It runs fine on cold start up, power seems about normal and doesn't miss...until you shut her off and then start after a warm soak. Then she misses badly and skips like crazy and will fill the yard with white smoke. Had a dead #4, so replaced that injector. I Have 48 volts during cranking but as you step on the throttle it rapidly drops to 22 volts. Thanks for the reply!
FICM came in and I installed it today, no more white smoke and much better throttle response than it ever had with the stock file. I opted for the 48 Volt. Will reflash with my tuner tomorrow...hehe!
