Well guys I was talking to a guy I know that ive been telling him he needs to sell me his truck he has and he kept saying know Im going to fix it up until the other day he texted me said ill take 500 bucks for it so I figured id go look at it and well I decided id buy it starts up runs smooth deffinantely needs glow plugs and some body work but overall a fairly strait truck going to use parts from my other two parts trucks to fix it up but it does have a bad trans fluid leak im going to see where the leak is and then fix and deside if im gonna leave it auto or not I have everything to make it manual including drive shafts and interior parts except trans I have a 2wd transmission id trade with some cash for a 4wd if I go that route if any ones interested also has a lift on it believe 2.5 inch it actually sets really level jus sitting that way because its winched down
well im trying to upload photos thought they went but ill have them up asap also its had a engine put in it an its out of a buss because the original went bad did they have the same size injectors as or obs trucks
Well sorry they took so long to get posted but here they are I'm excited to start the build process but it has had a engine put in it out of a buss it is factory powerstroke just the original engine died so someone installed this on I'm going to fix everything and repaint it and resell it I have s lot of parts for it and I'm rest to start this build I always forget about taking pictures on my daily driver but Im going to take detailed pics of this build but here's the color I'm probably gonna go with
I don't think you got hurt on that deal. Does the water pump have the filter built in then? Are you gonna make a race truck out of it or just a good dd.
It doesn't they switched it out but I found it in the back and I actually talked him down more once I got there plan on making a nice dd probably efuel and ts
well guys im trying to decide on what all I should do to this truck and im really thinking a sd axle swap 05 up I found a front axle and everything to convert it but I don't have all the funds yet so im thinking about letting go of my spare 7.3 engine its on a engine stand all together its supposed to have higher millage but I suspect its been rebuilt I can send pics of cylinder walls and everything pm if anyone is interested need gone asap
well guys im not going to be installing 05 up axles under this truck decided to leave axles that are under it under it but I am going to be installing them in my personal rig im supposed to be meating the guy this weekend to pick up the front axle and rear axle along with the coil buckets springs steering and everything needed only wants 1200 for all of it along with a limited slip rear axle and ill have 3:73 now but im consisidering a gear swap because I like where my rpms are at with my 3:55 but we will see that'll be another build as for this truck ill be taking more pics tis weekend when I get home and hopefully ill find the oil leak and the tranny leak probably going to put my power doors on the truck I have and maybe if cash allowing a ts but we will see deffinantly plan on efuel and a intake but we will see ill post up picks next time I work on it
Well guys turns out cab was a little rusty could have repaired it but I have a spare so I'm putting it on and putting the rear main in it input shaft seal in it and repainting frame on it
Yeah I should be able to gonna put the new can on to day and try to get it put back together for the most part I'm in pretty cheap and only thing I've bought so far is filter fluid and paint for the frame
