Well went and picked up my paint gallon of Oxford white a gallon of reducer and gallon of nason clear and activater for clear hopefully next day or so it'll be ready cleaned out cab and bed and getting ready to primer bumper and the valance panel so close I'll post pics of the process when I start painting
Well was about ready to pull in paint room was wiping truck down and saw some tiny cracks on driver side bedside filler cracks and I knew what it was I had forgotten to put fiberglass reinforced filler down first so I sanded it back down to metal and I'm fixing it early mistake I've done body work but never this big of a job on my own so lesson learned about fixed now though
Well here's another uptadate guys so close may not look it in the picture put it's almost perfect but have few more tiny places then I can primer it and block it out and be ready to go
Theres some imperfections but Itll polish up good but this is probably my last paint excursion not my line of work love working on these trucks just not body work
It is a lot of work I wish I'd spent a bit more time on this one in all honesty but once I get the pin stripes and 4x4 stickers on painting the mirrors black I think it'll look good it'll draw eyes away from some small imperfections in all honesty wish I could keep the truck I'd drive it a bit throw dana 60 under it and efuel and baby swamps and call it good but sold it already made deal always be another one out there
