Hey guys, a few days ago my wife's 07' explorer 4.0L, 4wd, 72k miles, had the abs light, traction control light, and a wrench light all come on. By the the time I got to look at it, they were off. Now 3 days later, they have all come back on. To me it seems like a electrical issue or maybe a sensor or something but I wanted to get your thoughts on where to start looking.
My initial thought would be a faulty wheel speed sensor. If the vehicle speed in your '07 is sourced from the ABS system that could explain having the wrench light on along with the ABS and the traction control lights.

This was the case with my 2006 Explorer. It was the same set of lights and they would sometimes go out, then come back on.
My code reader gave me "C1236-Speed Wheel LR Input Signal Missing"
I replaced a cracked ABS "Tone" ring. The ring is only $15, or so, but it's a chore to replace.
Sometimes those lights go along with loud growling wheel bearing hubs in the front. Its worth checking on an ABS capable reader. to see which wheel is giving the error. If you have to do the front hubs, do not use cheap import junk. I have been down that road too many times. Motorcraft or Timken bearings only for me so I don't have to do the job multiple times. New hubs come with new ABS sensors for the front.

This was a great advice. the traction control activate and holds my explorer from movement because of bearing failure.
Ok, so I finally was able to get a code reader on the explorer, it came up with a c1145- RF wheel speed sensor input circuit failure. I assume that the sensor is part of the whole hub/wheel bearing assembly and not replaceable by itself?
You can replace the sensor by itself, but I wouldn't. I would just do the hub that comes with the sensor. Likely your bearings are going out causing the problem.
