I went in today. 1 hour 45 minutes later. Done. Free.
Also the advice to delete and re sync my s5 was a success. Texts are coming through now.
I had to re sync phone after service but no big deal.
Next on my list is map update.
Kind of funny about that.
I asked service advisor about map update. He sent me to parts department. Parts department brought me up a sd card and said I'd have to have service install it for a fee... back to service I went.
Service said no, I do it myself.
I didn't even know I had an SD card slot!

Mine doesn't have a sd card slot. I need the cd's to update maps. Dealership was trying to sell me the wrong part.

If your vehicle is equipped with an SD card slot (MyFord Touch) for navigation, it will be located in the media hub with the USB ports.

You're correct. The navigation updates for your vehicle come in disc form.

You can obtain the update (7.0X) through HERE Maps. Check out the link Shaay provided earlier in the thread.

Not to hi-jack but..
I went to sync my ride and it told me I have a 'Dealer Installed' update available.
I thought we were supposed to be able to update them ourselves ?!?
Anyone have any hints?
