Seats

Are there any seats from more modern trucks that can " bolt on " to our bumps sides? I would love to find a 40/20/40 yo put in mione.

Gee, that would be up to '96 F-150's and UP TO '98 F-250/350'S. NOT SUPER DUTIES 99+. Sorry to be the bolt-counter, but we should strive to be accurate here as up to 98 F-250's do exist. Just like 8 bolt X 6 1/2" wheels on up to 2013 Econolines.

It must be an 8 lug OBS F250 however, not a 7 lug version styled like the '97 F150

Double check me, but I think you have to swap the mounting brackets from yours to the newer ones. The width is the same but brackets my not be. Again double check me as I may be wrong and thinking of something else.

Correct. You will need to bolt your existing seat brackets on to the new seats. The newer trucks do not have the same floor profile as ours, so the brackets won't work.
