The A and D pricing was lower but not available to average Joe unless Ford employee or retiree.

NADA gave me the same price as I am paying and same as X-Plan price.

The only difference was the doc fees and the funds they get from Ford.

This just confirms what we are saying. You are probably using a bigger dealer then we have access to and he is giving you a good price.

Not really a big dealer. He use to work at the dealer I ordered my 2015 F350 with same style pricing and the town size is only 4500 total population in a 10 mile radius...he moved to a town about 25 miles away of 15,000 and i got similar pricing on Fusion.....towns are close to the hick capital town of Montgomery, Alabama

I looked at new and Cert. Used F250s several months ago using both the X plan (via my company) and the COSTCO plan. In every vehicle I considered the COSTCO plan was $500 to $1000 lower price than the X-plan. Even on a Certified Used Costco got an additional discount of $500.

Purchased a new 2016 KR today. MSRP was 70,350. Friends and family was 65K and change. I paid 61,100 with another 2250 off with a rebate offer. Buy price of 58,850+ttl. DFW area with similar prices at most dealers. I could have got another 1K off at some other dealers, but I was chasing a hard to find color combo with no other ones in the area. Some Houston dealers are even lower. 68K trucks for 56-57 all over EBAY.

How much was the advertising fee? The fuel/gas fee? Did they fill your truck full of fuel for you?

Didn't see any of those fees. Truck was filled, lifetime free car washes at their drive thru..which I'll never use, and first oil change is free.

Talked to my local sales manager, everyone is X plan plus you can use any incentive. Sounds good but is it?

Go to NADA and price the truck you want to order. It will probably be lower than the current Friends & Neighbors price on the Ford website where you build your truck. I would print it and take to a dealer and ask them to match it if less than this new Program before any incentives.

The 2016 Fusion I have on order is:

List on NADA and Ford, including deliver is ---- $28140

Friends and Neighbor price before any incentives --- $26,682

Nada price on their website & what dealer priced it - $26,061

Incentives I have locked in are 0% for 60 months plus $2000 plus $750 private cash in a brochure I requested from Ford.

here is a copy of the 2016 Super Duty order guide at this website

I used my bank's (USAA) car buying service which was basically "truecar" pricing. My time turned out to worth over $10k off the truck and a great rate from the bank. Use the internet for good and you'll find that many credit unions and banks, as well as Costco and Sams have buying plans that give you a quote. If nothing, you can use the quote as leverage with your local dealer.

Much of what people are posting is based on financing and/or in stock trucks. Those of us who buy cash and order our vehicles have a very different scenario where the dealer has less incentive to deal. Add to that regional differences and for me, there is no way to beat X-Plan. I'm glad many of you out there have more options but they just aren't there for buyers in my situation.

x plan is the only way I buy. When we bought our MKC I beat all the incentives using the xplan and the fees are capped as well.

While there are huge incentives for the dealers to turn the vehicles on their lot within a short window there can be deals to be had on a BTO model as every dealer will be competing for the same customer, with the same long term service potential, and get the credit for passing a new unit through it's doors.
A good deal for both sides is when both sides feel they left something on the table but still made the decision to shake hands and sign the papers.
