Hey guys. On my last trip pulling our 5th wheel. I got a bolt through my inner left dual and it lost all air. There was never any alarm. Don't the dually's have TPMS on all 6 tires? Mine is a 2015 Lariat.
I would be willing to bet that your dually does not have TPMS installed as they are not required by the government due to being over the magic GVWR number.
There are many different aftermarket systems that can be added should you so desire

duallys do not have TPMS.
we added an TruckSystems (tst) 507 system with 6 sensors and 4 for the FW.
Hmmm...that explains that. It just happens that I have a TST TPMS system on the truck and the 5th wheel, but the left front and inner left dual quit working. The outer left dual went into alarm because the temperature was going high. That was my only clue to a problem.
I have the TireMinder/Camping World TPMS 66 system. Did not have to re-balance after install. I have senders on all 7 of the truck's tires and all 5 of the 5th wheel's tires. IT did come in handy on my trip from Alabama to Washington State and back. I had one of the metal valve stems come loose and the tire lost 10psi fairly quickly. It gave a warning and I pulled over immediately. Was able to tighten the nut on the valve stem and proceed to the next exit where i could safely pump up the tire.
Out of habit and knowing some of the sensors do tend to stop or battery go bad, I do a manual reset of my TireMinder system and let it re-find all the sensors. If any do not report after 30 minutes, I check them for bad battery or other issues.
