Dana 44
Anybody know who sells the paper and alum Locking hub gaskets for the heavy hubs on the Dana 44. They were a Ford dealer item only for many years and when I was in and out of the water all the time I repacked bearings every fall and now I cant locate any gaskets. Called Dana Spicer and the tech there could not tell me. Even the part # would help

I believe they are the same gaskets as a chevy try looking for parts for them (76 k20 dana 44 is the one I messed with)
That being said last time I messed with that truck we rtved it because that's how it was done before

Your correct on the Chevy, rtv has its place but in this case the gaskets are a must. I put a thin coating on where the gasket goes and a thin coat on the outside seams too. Even if I have to make gaskets I will, Thanks
