the "fasten belt" warning light in my 1978 bronco stays on when i turn the ignition switch off as a result it drains the optima battery dead. i tried looking for a wiring diagram but cant seem to find any. do you guys know what could be the problem or where i can find a wiring diagram?? have any of you guys had this same problem or similar?
On my '81, the seatbelt warning light plug is under the dash cap right above the glove box.
Honestly, if it's the same as mine, it took less time to remove the dash cap (about 10 easily accessible screws) than it did to remove the glove box. Just take the screws out of the cap, lift and slide it out the door, and plugs should be visible.
i just removed the fuse from the fusebox for the seatbelt it was a 7.4 amp fuse and so far thats it currently i'm charging my battery and cant wait to put it back in my bronco so i can get back to driving it. next on the list is the brake upgrade for the front and drum to disc kit on the back.
