acrobat reader dc V15.009
One of my computes us nagging me to 'update' from Adobe XI to Acrobat Reader DC 15.009.20069. There's very little discussion on this, but somebody reported that his wanted him to 'log in' every time he used it. Strangely, only one compute is whining about this.
I had one bad experience with Adobe previously, so I'm leery. They split the Reader Product and updated me to a limited and almost totally useless product. With the grace of God and a good stout stick, I was able to get back to Reader XI.
So, does anybody know anything about this version?
Thanks,
hj
You don't need to upgrade until you are not able to read PDF files..
Just open Adobe then goto the edit menu
Choose preferences then choose updater..
Set it to not update or download
As far as the DC version it is part of the current trend to move everything to the cloud..
Probably won't be free after they get everyone to bight the hook..
I haven't installed it on any computers yet and definitely won't on my personal computers
i never update anything at all. i have a 15 year old desktop that is still running the programs that were put in it when new, and it still works fine.
the only changes i ever made to that machine was switching from internet explorer to mozilla firefox for the web browser, and adding RAM.
