Anyone want to buy some 49ers tickets for the remaining games? Good seats and I'll sell them half off. 50 bucks each.

It's amazing how much the mileage has increased over the years. My 2014 Fusion gets 40+ at 75 MPH. It can get 55+ if you keep it at 55 or under. Of course you have to pay out the *** to buy the car in the first place. But down the road there will be a lot of used cars with this kind of mileage.

Looking forward to some serious eating on Thursday.

Yes indeed, the energy crisis is over with all these cars getting such good gas mileage. Of course that just means Kalifornia can raise the gas tax since they are not getting their required amount from the pumps. LOL

I hate to say it but I think it's inevitable that they go to a mileage based tax system. Raising the tax on gas will not really affect me (and a lot of other EV owners) now that I buy $35 worth of gas every two months while driving 50 miles a day or so. The other alternative is to tax cars and trucks based on registration, but that screws over everyone with more than one vehicle, like my dad who has 10 cars. He can only drive one at a time...

Greetings Nor Cal. Hope everyone's Monday was great. More taxes are without a doubt on the way I'm afraid.

Go figure.

The replacement intake manifolds Ford used for the defective manifolds were still made of plastic.

I think 413 row 17 or something like that? Sunny side, upper deck, 25 yard line. Decent seats.

Happy Taco Tuesday Nor Cal! Hope everyone is ready for tomorrow's rain!

It figures that Ford would replace a plastic intake manifold with another plastic one. Maybe the replacement will last longer. That doesn't make sense that your Crown Vic was not included in the recall just because it was produced at a different plant.

Neighbor inherited a house in Santa Clara that is directly across the street from the stadium (never been there, but that's how he describes it), he has rental offers for super bowl weekend in the 15k range.
