Hi Guys -- well we made it to The Coachlight RV park in Las Cruces NM after leaving the Monahans State Park at 9am today.. 6.5 hours of driving and taking it easy for the night..
I checked the TST repeater on the camper and it's little LED is lit but still doesn't work right... Grrrrrr....
I will be looking for a better TPMS soon....
On a more positive note, the Sailun tires are doing just fine...
Not too sure I will post pics from this spot since it is nothing more than a gravel parking lot with power and water hookups (but a nice WiFi signal)... I will share some from the road in a little bit...
A pic from our camping (parking) spot for the evening and one from the road as we were driving west from Monahans Texas... Lots of loooooooong road with cactus and mesquite trees on either side. The speed limit was 80 most of the way, but we stuck to 65 or so...
I have noted that there is a 2-3 MPH speedometer error at 65 MPH (GPS) where the speedo indicates 68 but GPS says 65. I'm inclined to believe the GPS.
Also noted was the cruise control - which is rock solid when not towing - will allow the speed to drift down from 65 to as low as 62 before it accelerates to as high as 68 before backing off.. Not really happy about that - nor are the people following me. I will probably have to take it to a dealer.

Looks like nice country to see once. I definitely would not want to live there
Sounds like a productive day Chris. The cooling system plumbing suggests it's a newer truck, which year?
Oh and I got a haircut! Lol
It is a 2012 5.0. The cooling system hose o-rings can't be purchased separately. We should have replaced the upper radiator hose in addition to the leaking y hose

Good evening everyone. Spent some time at dealers today. Tried to buy from Apple Ford but they were not good at all. Went back to Morries in Minnetonka. They had a King Ranch but I don't like those or the 10k extra they get. They found one loaded like I want somewhere in Iowa. There are going to see about getting it up here for me. So maybe end of week...

All the newer cars and trucks are going to those o-ringed hoses. It's not a good design, but you need multiple piece hoses to fit them in the packed engine compartments.

I didn't even think about replacing the seal on the other one. My bad.
