is yours efi or carb? if its efi, i suggest you get a set of headers and larger injectors before you swap in cam.
its been a while since i looked, but the crane truck power seems like a slightly more agressive grind, theres a desktop dyno2000 screen cap of one in my gallery if you want an idea of what it can do.
Hey Chuckman, is that your truck on that dyno with that cam? (Dumb question, yes I know, but I want to make sure it's yours) If so, what (if any) other kind of engine mods have you made to your truck (besides the cam)? I was looking into buying the Truck Power cam and I was wondering if it was any good.

that is actually a simulation from a program called "desktop dyno200." its simulating what i want my motor to be, hopefully next year when i get some scratch. that run has headers as well as the cam. its a fun little proggie to fool with, you can change head airflow, cam, advance, and add blowers and nitrous. its not an exact science, its more ballpark, but generally gets pretty close.
i havnt made any engine mods yet, i just started learning of the parts i can get for this thing about a year ago, and havent yet found a job to fund any changes. hopefully that will change this semester.
chuckman,
where did you get your "desktop dyno"? the desktop dyno I have looks just like the one in your gallery but does not have inline sixes in it only v8 and v6's. It's fun! Have you seen what kind of power you can get with a mildly built 460?
to "build" a 300, you have to manually input bore, stroke, and number of cylinders, then name it 300 ford six or whatever you want to call it. i have the head airflow math somewhere (stolen from whittey no less) if you want it, its not on my current machine as i reinstalled windows the other day and havent put everything back on.
I've been messing around with Desktop Dyno for the past 20 or 30 minutes, and I was wondering, with the Crane Truck cam, would the lifters you need for it be either the "Hydraulic Flat-Tappet Lifters" or the "Roller Solid or Hydraulic Lifters"? I think they would be the second option, anyone else have a guess? I probably wouldn't care but it means about 50 more ft-lb torque.
