Sorry no I don't I wish I did this and the crush washers the ones I have been getting come with every oring in and out on the injector I will attach a picture of them also I just got another set last week thatnalso has all of them. The seal on the right I just pulled out of an injector that was used for probably 3000 miles so you have a comparrison
That one on the right shows a clear nipple cup leak. The way it appears sandblasted from the top down. The high pressure oil leaks past the nipple cup seal and follows the body of the nipple cup down to the top injector seal. That is why we made bulletproof nipple cups so that if the nipple cup seal ever does fail, oil is deflected away.

Thanks for the pic! I have one that looks similar. I ordered the HHC Diesel nipple cup socket and seals already. Im going to just replace all of them as well as the upper orings on the injectors as well. I was hoping to find just the upper one instead of having to buy 8 whole sets. Sucks that they arent sold individualy too.
Thanks again!
I have noticed that some kits come with the wire c-clip and some don't. The one you posted Archy does not appear to come with them? Is that clip part of the upper seal?
I ordered the same kit but it hasnt made it here yet. I pulled one injector and pulled the oring out without removing the retaining clip. Just for giggles, i reinstalled the oring with the clip still in and it wasnt too bad. I cant get the oem clips out to save my life and didnt have a choice but do it that way. That video in the tech folder helped me though.
Lol same here never have been able to get them but i have mastered getting the orings in and out with the clip in just watch the washer under the clip im sure you seen know.....i hold it with a dental pick tool while i push the oring in tell it catches the lip of the washer then work it up with a small flat head. Very small lol i think its easyer that way.

Sorry yes it is part of the top seal and i order the ones that dont come with them now just because i cant get them out. I also have never heard of them causing a failure. I could be wrong tho
Thanks! I just got mine in today. Same kit. Wonder why it doesent come with the retaining clip. I changed them out without removing the clip anyway. I couldnt get the original out of the injector. I think it was easier changing the top oring witout messing with the retaining clip.
Thanks for the pics!
If the O-rings become worn or damaged, this will cause the injector to vibrate and cause the retainer clips to crack up into pieces. This metal debris will find its way back to the return side of the oil pump (gerotor) gears and housing.
If this happens, it will damage the gears, housing, crankcase cover, oil cooler, oil filter housing, and high pressure oil pump. The engine will stall and fail to restart. You will not show any signs of base oil pressure, which would in turn mean no high pressure to the injectors.
This will all cost somewhere between $5000 to $6000 to fix. So yes, if you have the time and patience, I would definitely change them out.

.
Interesting. First I've EVER heard of this! I didn't realize the o-ring did so much to stabilize the injectors. I just thought the were there to keep oil from leaking past...
