The glove box key is a three cut key from the tip of the key.
On mine I took the glove box out, took off the cover on the back of the lock.
Remove the two screws and the latch comes out with the tumbler.
You can see a silver part sticking out of the tumbler at the rear, this is not a key wafer.
Push the part in and the tumbler will come out.
Take a needle noise and pull each wafer out one at a time and write down the number on it starting with the rear wafer. Then put the wafer back in.
When you have all three numbers take the numbers (the key combination) and the tumbler to a lock shop and they will cut a key for you.
Note the key blank is the key blank for older Ford doors as in a ilco S1167FD or a Star OFD10.
Then push the part at the back of the tumbler in and push it back into the latch.
Then just put the glove box back together.
