filter question

Been doing my efuel swap. I'm using a Wix 33405 prefilter. The filter came with a small gasket. What's it for? Add on water seperator bowl?

I looked it up and did not find anything conclusive. It is a multiple use filter so it fits an application just not sure what it is. Other than, not needed for your application.

The fuel filters on my tractors have those. It's meant to go on the threads of the filter head. Between the head and the filter

You're right. I called Wix this morning and that was their answer.
