Filter Question
I was going to look up my filter question in the tech folder but it vanished. Is the Baldwin fuel filter PF7812 the SAME as the Ford and IH filter (1847170C92). (not a replacement but the same) They look alike and have the same pat. #

I believe they are the same, but i have not seen them up close only in pictures. Make sure they have the water block membrane on the primary filter. That is the cross reference number in the baldwin catalog.

just to give you a heads up, on the secondary filter on the engine, on the bottom of the center you will see a splined center. have seen alot of the aftermarket filters come apart here and damage the standpipe.
