tailgate supports
So, in my rush to "clean up" the body of my 54 f 100, I decided to remove the chains from the tailgate and go with the hidden latches. Now, I am wondering, just how am I going to support the tailgate. For most people it wouldn't be an issue, but my fuel tank is in between the frame rails with the fill neck in the bed. Any ideas?? I'm sure someone has done this before.
