4.9 300 inline engine perches

I have a good 300 six cylinder that came out of my 77 F150 when I swapped in a 460. What I am wondering is what vehicles will my engine perches work in with the six cylinder? I realize there are numerous cars & trucks will fit in but I am looking more for what years and vehicles the engine perches will fit in. Would like to start searching Craigslist for a vehicle to put the six in. Plan on looking for something with a bad small block to pull out and put the six in since the sixes last forever and are harder to find with a bad engine. Since I already have the perches I don't want to have to work harder.

if i recall 73-77 for sure. I dont believe that style will work in any 78 + due to changes in the frame width.

Yeah appreciate the reply. I had figured on those years for the trucks but was wondering if there were any other vehicles? I see you mentioned the frame changed after those years. What's the difference? Also does anyone know what it would take to get it into early 80's vehicles or possibly an older vehicle like a 50's ford? I have the engine,transmission out as one unit.

the straight six was in many trucks from early 70's to mid 90's, the frame perches evolved with those changes for those years. check out broncograveyard.com for what you need or wrangle thru craigslist as i am sure someone is parting out these older trucks.

as for your 50's ford, if you can weld or know someone that can fabricate that will get you what you need.
