Ball Joints
I am gonna replace all my ball joints on my 1982 Ford F100 stepside two wheel drive. I go online to buy them and it ask if they are screw in or not? I thought they were all pressed in and I'll need a tool from AutoZone. No problem there but I'm confussed on which joints to buy. Has anyone ever done ball joints on a 82" F100 2 WD? I'm gonna buy from Autopartswarehouse.com. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Ok so I don't want the screw in type correct? Thanks as now I know what to buy.

If they mean screw in as in bolt in then no you do not want that. The ball joints press in youll need a C press to install them. Removal is not a big deal especially if you have two hammers lay one hammer on the balljoint after you remove the spindle and use another hammer and hit the first to drive the balljoint out.
