I'm in Alberta and had two dealers in the states give my quotes today. Both are aware I'm in Canada and neither cared. I do have wife's family that live in Iowa so the paperwork will be forwarded from their residence to mine when they get it. With exchange rate a 6yr 125000mile premium care 100 deductible with no renal or lighting option is 2700 Canadian. I was quoted 4300 here . Ridicules.

It is ridiculous. Why are Canadians paying 4-5K for the same warranty?

Less competition here in Canada for the esp . I would like to see all north American dealers able to compete for OUR business and OUR money. The weak ones will either die off or become more realistic about what they are offering.

It would of been funny if the government had told ford they couldn't move to Mexico if they wanted to sell to the US or Canada. Wonder how much crying we would of heard then? But. but we cant make as much money using our high priced skilled workers. Yes I'm pissed about this lol.

We have purchased the premium care with every truck since 2007 (6 trucks) and have come out ahead on the balance every time.

But, so far my 2015 might turn out different. Have to see what happens in the next three years.

I think the esp is well worth it. My last truck the 2011 had it and had close to 6000 dollars worth of repairs done by ford during the extended warranty. New stereo because lights quit working on it, blend door , radiator , park sensors. I'm sure I'm missing a few things lol.
