Toying with the idea of making a solid hanger for the front, and leaving the hanger for the rear of the front solid as well. Anyone see an issue? Much like the RSK, minus the rear shackle
(Avoiding fabbing a trac bar) 1985 f250 Dodge dana60 swap
Seems to me that without a shackle the spring would tear itself apart. Why not flop the existing shackle to the back like the RSK does? My 94 has a home made RSK and no track bar, with tight tie rods and bushings, I get no wobble.

I was considering something like that, I'm just basing it off the old dodges since I'm using the dodge Axle it seemed to stand out to me moreso
what Jared said. the difference in the ford and dodge setup is that the ford uses an front shackle inside the frame and a solid rear hanger. the dodge uses a solid front hanger, and a "H" rear shackle that goes over the frame rail.
if you use the solid front and rear shackle setup, you can do without the trac bar, but the trac bar just makes it handle better.
Well yeah, that is pretty much what I meant! LOL. One other aspect of the RSK, is it gives you some lift, (about 3" on my 94) which could be a good or bad thing depending on what the truck is primarily used for.
I ran an SAS on my 84 F250, all custom built no track bar and had front shackles. I got death wobble at first, but added a pair of shocks up front and never had a problem again. I even drove it cross country, down to Portland for some wheeling, and no issues.
